A much needed getaway!!!

About a month ago I went on a mini vacation to visit my Grandpa Baird who recently got diagnosed with cancer. I went with my mom, brother Jake, Aunt Star and Cousins ~ Cheyann, Tara, and Vanessa. We had a lot of fun...... I just love St. George and the weather!! We arrived on a Thursday pretty late so we just went to bed. Friday we got up went to Brigham Young's summer home, bowling, ate at Chuck-A-Rama, did some visiting with Grandpa, ate some more food and then took some fun pictures of the temple. To finish the night off we played card games. Saturday was full of shopping. We shopped until we literally dropped (and ran out of money) We ate at this yummy Tai food restaurant and had these delicious cupcake bites. Late Saturday night me and Jake snuck off to Mesquite and had a Blast. Let's just say that night I was feelin lucky and won me some Money!!! Sunday we made cake and cupcakes for Mya's birthday, did some more visiting with Grandpa and then it was off to Las Vegas. Vegas was so much fun, all we really did was eat at this huge buffet and walked around. Monday we raced home just in time for Mya's big Birthday partay!!! Wow what a weekend. It was so good to see my Grandpa and hang out with my Aunt and Cousins, it brought back a lot of good childhood memories. And I had the best time with Jake, I just love him to pieces!!!

Inside Brigham Young's home, this was like a living room!!

When they first established St. George the best part was they were able to make cotton into fabric.

I just love how the St. George temple sticks out like a sore thumb!!! You can see the temple so good!!

Another reason why this temple is so important to my family is because it is the temple my mom and dad were married and sealed in!!

So me and Jake had a lot of fun on this trip taking some crazy random pictures and what a perfect place to this then in Vegas.

Then we went to the Bellagio.....

Inside they have this amazing conservatory that is all decked out. This time of the year was decorated for Spring. So there was the coolest flower garden and a butterfly house.

Then they even had a Farris wheel and a carousel!!

The Famous Chocolate Fountain !!!

The largest chocolate fountain in the world!! There was dark, milk and white chocolate.

Check out these yummy desserts. Me & Jake got the one on the very left... It was a yummy white chocolate raspberry cheesecake.

They had the cutest wedding cupcakes!!

Awww, the Bellagio Fountains are so beautiful. We were lucky enough to have the weather be nice so we watched 3 different shows!!

Love this huge rocking chair!! We found this beauty when we pulled into Beaver to make a pit stop on the way home!
