Best friend Jenny!!

My Mom's best friend from grade school, Jenny Miles, turned 50 this year. We love Jenny, she is like family to us!!! For her birthday me and my mom went to Utah to surprise Jenny for her birthday. Jenny is so much fun to be with. She loves animals!!! So for her birthday we went to the Hoogle Zoo. Later we went to Park City for dinner and a ride down the Alpine Slide.

Us Girls loving the Zoo!!

Jenny was really fascinated by the elephants because they are her Dad's favorite animal and they had the cutest baby elephant!!

The baby!!

My favorite animal at the zoo was the giraffes. So of course I had to get a close up.

And I took a picture of the Bald Eagle because that has been one of Mack's favorite animals lately!!

Happy Birthday Jenny. Hope you have a great year!!!

Playin in the Rain!!

One cloudy rainy July day the kids decided to go change out of their shorts into pants and put their winter coats on to play outside in the RAIN. I think the rain only lasted a little while but this summer the kids have lived outside so they could not stand the thought of having to be stuck inside even if it was pouring outside. I loved how they helped each other get dressed and grabbed their coats for this "special occasion".

Yard Work with Dad!!

The kids love hanging out with their Dad.

One night after work Ladd was trying to get the lawn mowed before it got too dark and Mya wanted to help. So she grabbed her lawn mower and followed his every move. Right before they could get done something fell off of the mower that needed put back on. Ladd parked the mower to go get some tools, Mya did the exact same thing. I thought it was so cute I had to snap some pics. Not to mention Mya is out mowing in her dancing outfit.... LOVE it!!!

The parked mowers :)

Fixing the mowers!!

I guess both mowers needed some good ole electrical tape!!

Trying to get the job done in the dark before they got too rained out. Oh and Roscoe had to follow them along as well.

Weekend @ the Cabin!!!

The weekend of Ladd's birthday my Mom, Jake, Heather, & Jordon took the kids to my grandpa's cabin near Henry's Lake. The kids had a blast!!! They love spending time with Family!! Thanks to Jake.... I have some pics of the fun weekend.

As a kid I went to the cabin every summer and have so many good memories of the cabin so I am so glad that my kids were able to go and enjoy the cabin!!

The kids sitting on this cool wooden swing that sits right in front on the cabin.

Playing horseshoes!! I loved playing horseshoes when I was younger!! They still have the same old horseshoes that I played with :)

Just hanging out inside the cabin!!

Going for a walk!!

Throwing rocks into the Lake. I am sure Mack tried to skip a few.

One day they went to West Yellowstone!!

The kids got to feed a cute little chipmunk!

Thanks guys for taking the kids to the cabin and letting me and Ladd enjoy a quiet weekend!!

Turning 30!!!

So what if I am only 2 months late!!

Happy Birthday Ladd!!

This year Ladd turned the big 30!! I can remember being little and thinking once you hit your thirties then you are sooo old. Well that is not the case any more :) I wanted to make Ladd's 30th birthday special with a surprise party and all that jazz but his birthday just kind of snuck up on me. We did have some brownies and ice cream before his birthday with my parents and Jake. Then for his "real" birthday my mom, Jordon, Heather, and Jake took the kids for the weekend. They all headed up to my grandpa's cabin. So I did get to take Ladd out for his birthday and we had the whole weekend to ourselves. (Thanks family for being so awesome!!!)

I LOVE this pic of The birthday boy and Mya!!

The kids love to help blow out the candles. Isn't this the Best picture ever!!! I mean seriously look at Mack and those cheeks!!

My parents bought Ladd his first set of golf clubs!!! Mack was sooo excited. Now his daddy can take him golfing!!! YAY!!!

Showing off the golf clubs!!

After the party Mya smashed her finger and cried herself to sleep!

We love you Ladd!! Hope the thirties are good to you!!
