Mackay

Our good Friends (Jake & Marci) have a trailer in Mackay and invited us out for a weekend. We only got to go from Saturday evening to Sunday evening but we sure did have a lot of fun. We saw antelope and even some babies on the drive out. We had yummy food, played in the creek, went fishing, road 4-wheelers, roasted marshmallows around the fire, played checkers, and hung out.

The kids playing in the creek!!

Fishing:

Awww aren't we so cute?

Yummy Chicken kabobs!!!
We love the Lewis's and camping!!!

Swim days @ G-Ma's!!

It is always fun to go have a swim party at Grandma's house, especially when all the cousins can come over!!

Mannix loves the water!!! He didn't even care that is was cold!!

We all had fun being lazy and relaxing on a warm day. The kids loved the water and their suckers. Hadleigh was so worn out that she passed out on Uncle Jake's lap with her sucker in her mouth, but just as we went to snap a pic the sucker fell out.

4th of July

We got invited to go to our Friend's cabin in Soda Springs the 4th of July. We got up early and headed up the mountains. We went fishing and the boys shot their guns. We didn't do a whole lot but we sure had a lot of fun just hanging out with the Petersons. After we were done fishin we headed home. Since it was kind of late we jumped in the shower, grabbed a pizza and headed over to Jensen's Grove to watch the Blackfoot Fireworks. What a way to end a good day... with Fireworks. After the fireworks we went home and lit off our own little fireworks that we bought.

Happy Fourth of July!!!

Tautphaus Park Zoo

During 4th of July weekend we went to the Zoo. It was the perfect day for the zoo, warm but breezy. We were lucky that all of the animals were out. The zoo also had a lot of babies which were fun to look for!!

The baby zebra was so cute!!!

We were all fascinated by the lions especially after watching the movie African Cats.

The tiger was posing perfect for a picture!!

I can't remember what these were called but they were also babies and super cute.

We got to watch a zookeeper feed the pelicans.

The monkeys are always fun to watch.

More of Jensen's Grove :)

One of the things that the kids like to do had Jensen's is look for weird bugs, fish or tadpoles. Well they found some crazy creepy minnow tadpole fish thing AND they found a lot of them. They started collecting them and having them "live" in their buckets. I wish I would have had my camera that day so I could really get a good pic of these things, but I only had my phone. These tadpole things were flat with big eyes and then a bunch of legs underneath.

The kids with their special tools to catch these crazy tadpoles!!

This is picture of just a few of them!!

Building a sand castle!!

Marci and I were pretty proud of our sand castle that we built!!!

The Orange Leaf . . .

has become our new favorite place to grab a treat. It is YummmY!!! I love how there is about 10-12 different yogurt flavors to choice from and then just about any kind of topping that you want to go with it. My favorite is either coconut or wedding cake yogurt. The kids love the banana flavor.

I got my friend hooked which may or may not be a good thing bc we go just about every time we are in Idaho Falls :)

I took some pictures with my phone so they are a little blurry!!!

If you haven't tried the Orange Leaf then you are missing out. In fact just thinking about it is making me want some, good thing I have to drive 30 min to get some or I might just gain a 100 lbs!!!

Lovin on baby Animals

We missed out on Baby Animal Day last year so this year I was on the look out for any news of when it would be. I was lucky enough to spot a poster advertising it so I called up my sis Heather and we made plans to take the kids. Who doesn't love seeing the adorable baby farm animals? Plus at Baby Animal day you get to pet all of the animals and go for a wagon ride. This year was really rainy and wet so it was held inside which was really nice.

The kids couldn't resist the Gator and had to climb all over it. It was hard to get all three kids to look and me and smile at the same time so here are 3 different photos with 1 kid looking and smiling:
Here is Hadleigh's cheesy grin!!

Here is Mack's handsome smile!!

and here is Mya's adorable cheesy smile!

Petting the baby goats.

The ducks did not want to get held so they would all snuggle in the middle of the pool.

Aunt Heather helping Mya pet a baby duck.

Mack was so proud of himself for grabbing and holding the duck all by himself!

The baby chicks are probably my favorite!!

The girls loved the bunnies!!

Checkin in on the Llamas!!

Mack liked the horses. And I just love how for what ever event we are going to he dresses for the occasion :)

The cute little piggies!!

The baby lambs.

and finally the baby calf.

There was also some reptiles and a big yellow snake that all 3 kids went and petted. I am glad that we made it to baby animal day this year and that Aunt Heather and Cousin Hadleigh could come.
