A much needed getaway!!!

About a month ago I went on a mini vacation to visit my Grandpa Baird who recently got diagnosed with cancer. I went with my mom, brother Jake, Aunt Star and Cousins ~ Cheyann, Tara, and Vanessa. We had a lot of fun...... I just love St. George and the weather!! We arrived on a Thursday pretty late so we just went to bed. Friday we got up went to Brigham Young's summer home, bowling, ate at Chuck-A-Rama, did some visiting with Grandpa, ate some more food and then took some fun pictures of the temple. To finish the night off we played card games. Saturday was full of shopping. We shopped until we literally dropped (and ran out of money) We ate at this yummy Tai food restaurant and had these delicious cupcake bites. Late Saturday night me and Jake snuck off to Mesquite and had a Blast. Let's just say that night I was feelin lucky and won me some Money!!! Sunday we made cake and cupcakes for Mya's birthday, did some more visiting with Grandpa and then it was off to Las Vegas. Vegas was so much fun, all we really did was eat at this huge buffet and walked around. Monday we raced home just in time for Mya's big Birthday partay!!! Wow what a weekend. It was so good to see my Grandpa and hang out with my Aunt and Cousins, it brought back a lot of good childhood memories. And I had the best time with Jake, I just love him to pieces!!!

Joyce, Grandpa, Me & Jake. This is serious my favorite picture of my Grandpa, he just looks so happy!!!

Here is the whole gang!!!

Inside Brigham Young's home, this was like a living room!!

This was his original bed, hat box, praying stool and cane!!

When they first established St. George the best part was they were able to make cotton into fabric.

Outside of his house was so beautiful!!

I just love how the St. George temple sticks out like a sore thumb!!! You can see the temple so good!!

Another reason why this temple is so important to my family is because it is the temple my mom and dad were married and sealed in!!

Vegas Baby:

These next few pics are all by the new Ares casino!!

So me and Jake had a lot of fun on this trip taking some crazy random pictures and what a perfect place to this then in Vegas.

Then we went to the Bellagio.....

Inside they have this amazing conservatory that is all decked out. This time of the year was decorated for Spring. So there was the coolest flower garden and a butterfly house.

This is a picture made out of all real flowers!!

Inside the butterfly house!!!

Then they even had a Farris wheel and a carousel!!

The Famous Chocolate Fountain !!!

The largest chocolate fountain in the world!! There was dark, milk and white chocolate.

Check out these yummy desserts. Me & Jake got the one on the very left... It was a yummy white chocolate raspberry cheesecake.

They had the cutest wedding cupcakes!!

Check out this sweet cake. This was made just for me ;)

Awww, the Bellagio Fountains are so beautiful. We were lucky enough to have the weather be nice so we watched 3 different shows!!

Yikes:
and there you have it some of the crazies in Vegas!!

Caesar's Palace.....

Beaver:
Love this huge rocking chair!! We found this beauty when we pulled into Beaver to make a pit stop on the way home!

Thanks babe for staying home with the kiddos so I could go and have such a great weekend. Love ya lots :)

St. Patrick's Day!!!

We love celebrating Holidays at our house and St. Patrick's Day is no exception. Once again that sneaky little Leprechaun peed in the toilet and forgot to flush leaving green pee in the toilet. The kids were so grossed out that I had to flush the toilet before either Mack or Mya would go into the bathroom. The little Leprechaun also brought the kids some green candy.

Breakfast:
Since it was St. Patrick's Day we had green waffles and green milk for breakfast. Neither one of the kids were very fond of the green waffles but both loved the green milk. Isn't it weird how you can change the color of something and all of a sudden it is gross?

Lunch:
Then for lunch we had Grandma and Uncle Skyler over and ate green cheese sandwiches. I found some green bread at the Downtown Bread Company. They were delicious!!

Mack was being grumpy and didn't really like having all this green food or having his picture taken.

But... Uncle Skyler finally got him to laugh.

The kids showing off their shirts for the special occasion. They had to wear green so they wouldn't get pinched!!

And one last shot of Grandma Clark and Miss Mya!!!

Yummmmm....
To finish off the day we had some very yummy Lucky Charm Marshmallow treats!!

Wrestling.....

Yes, it is wrestling season and we haven't missed a tournament yet!! So far we have been to Firth, Snake River, Holt Arena in Pocatello, Highland, American Falls, & Idaho Falls. Mack is doing pretty good and learning a lot in wrestling. His record of win, loss is about even. He wins some and loses some. We are going on week four of tournaments and I can already see him improving each time he wrestles.

Winner :)

The girls were having fun eating some blue Taffy

(If you look over in the corner Mya passed out, she was exhausted!!)

At the Holt Arena we got to met Roulan Gardner!!

Showing off his medal!!

Mack, Race, and AJ!!!

Just a Typical Day!!

Most days you will find us just Chillin at home. I do some babysitting for my brother, so I get to spend some time with my cute little nephew. The kids love playing with their Cousin Mannix, and I think Mannix likes them to. A few days we were all just watching some cartoons and hangin out.... when Mya zonked out in the Lazy Boy and Mack was showing Mannix how to play some Mario on his DS. It was all so cute I had to take pics.
Here is the Sleeping Beauty!!!

It was so funny how Mannix was actually staring at the DS like he was completely understanding exactly what Mack was doing. They sat there for a good 20 minutes before Mannix finally got bored!!

*Scroll down to see some more posts that I actually got around to doing today*

Valentines Cookies!!

I know this post is a little late, but better late then never. Every year since Mack was born me and my mom have made Sugar Cookies for Valentine's Day. It is a tradition that my mom passed down to me and my kids. We love it. The kids have so much fun making the cookies, eating the dough, and making a MESS. My mom is so patient with them and just lets them do everything from rolling out the dough to frosting the cookies. Mya loved getting into the flour and loved... loved the dough. She asked my mom if she could have a bite so my mom said just a little. Well about every five seconds she would take another bite of dough and say "Just a little... Huh Grandma?"

Thanks Grandma for the fun TIME!!!

My Cuties!!!

The other day I took some pictures of the kids for Valentines Day. Wow... This little Princess was not real excited to be dressed up and to get her hair done. But hey..... her little sad face can be so adorable sometimes.

I got one little Smile ;)

She was a little happier when I let her eat her "pupcake" in front of the camera!!

Now for a little update on Mya..... She is going through a dance phase. Everyday she has to get dressed up into some kind of dance outfit with her special dance shoes, then she loves to turn the radio on and shake her booty!! She is also a good little singer and as bad as this sounds she knows a lot of songs that come on the radio and will sing right along. Besides wearing crazy dance outfits she loves to dress herself, so if you see us out and about in some mismatch outfit just know she picked it out herself. Mya has got such a sweet tooth lately. I am constantly telling her to not use the bar stools to climb up on the counter to get a TREAT. Since she is such a picky eater, she basically lives off of milk and sweets:( Mya has learned how to "put herself in timeout" If you tell her no, or to stop doing some naughty behavior then she will give you this dirty look and storm off to her room. She is such a great little pouter!! She still is loving her Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. We watch a "few" episodes a day!!

My little man was so good in front of the camera!! I had to bribe him a little but Hey it worked ;)

Of course he has to give me his most mean masculine look while taking pics :)

His shirt says "Future Hunk"
Mack started wrestling practice a few weeks ago and loves it :/ I am a little nervous for this sport, but Ladd keeps reassuring me that everything will be just fine. He especially loves the workout and all the stretches that they do. He is a little tender-hearted and has a hard time being mean on take downs. Mack found our old play station 2 and has figured out how to play it. So he spends many hours playing football, basketball, NasCar and hot pursuit. I am amazed out how fast he can learn and pick up on the different plays. He will be talking to me about how good he is doing and will use all the football language that I don't even understand. He is still learning and growing in Preschool and is getting excited to start Kindergarten next year. We finally cut Roscoe's hair and yes he comes in the house, but Mack is so good to take care of him and makes sure he has food and water. He is also such a big helper letting him out to go potty.

I was so excited after the little photo shoot to see that I got some cute pics of the kids together....YAY!!!
